Through the rise and falling apart, we discover who we are.

six24 and I got out over the weekend and did some shooting at a local state park.  It was great, and much needed.  It felt good to get outside on a beautiful day, take some pictures for the first time in over a month, and I was able to completely forget about everything else for awhile.  I guess doing something you love has that power.  Six caught me in the act a couple times so I'm including a couple of those pics, too, paired up with the picture (or at least one like it) that I was taking at the time.  Unfortunately, the couple I tried taking of him didn't turn out. 

 

We took highly different approaches to our shooting, which was cool to see.  Six was shooting mostly in macro, paying attention to small details and textures, while I was shooting in a much broader sense and focusing mainly on the stream.  Six snapped away and took about 180 pics while I'm very selective of my shots and only tripped the shutter about 40 times.  It was fun to take note of the different shooting styles.  Anyway, not my best ever, but enjoy!
