My fiance and I went back to MI over the long weekend.  I don't mind living in MD now, but I still miss MI a ton.  It was really nice to go back.  We met my parents at my grandma's house.  The weekend went really fast, especially considering the 11 hour drive to get there. 

The three women went to a bridal shower for my cousin on Saturday, leaving my dad and I to sit around watching a movie on TV with my cousin's husband-to-be.  By the time that was over, the whole afternoon was shot, and we ended up just going out to dinner and playing a game that evening.  It was fun, and it felt good to relax, but I thought we might do a little more.  Sunday wasn't much more exciting.  We saw a movie in the afternoon, and went out for dinner again.  Oh well, it was nice to see everyone, and my parents were nice enough to bring my mountain bike, which I left at home when I moved.  Now I'm ready to hit the trails   I was excited to get to see Salty, my dog, too.  Here are a couple pictures of the little furball

Like I said in an earlier entry, it's funny how much you can miss a pet... but how could you not miss a face like that!
