I saw Revenge of the Sith Thursday night.  I had to get it in on opening night, plus it was my only chance with the rafting trip over the weekend.  I had my tickets two or three weeks early... I don't know if that makes me a Star Wars geek or not, but oh well. 

Anyway, what I was originally driving at was that the movie was awesome.  It's hard to beat the original trilogy (especially with a disappointment like Ep. I), but I think this may be my second favorite of the whole story, behind the Empire Strikes Back.  It seems like I've been waiting forever to see Anakin transform into Darth Vader, and the moment was well worth the wait.  When the mask went on, it gave me goosebumps.  It was great

I won't discuss any specifics of the movie.  I don't want to bore anyone who isn't into these movies or spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.  All I'll say is that it won't disappoint you.   I'm planning to go see it again.

Amazingly enough, I didn't see any of the Star Wars films until I was in high school when the original trilogy was re-released in theaters.  From that time, though, I've been hooked.  I don't want to call myself a geek, but I guess that I am.  I started some hardcore action figure collecting in the past couple months leading up to this movie.  It has become my guilty pleasure.  I'll blame that on six24 and the influence he had on me with all his Street Fighter collecting.   

I'm particularly interested in the Unleashed line of figures.  Each figure is basically a sculpture of a character in an action pose.  They aren't really made to play with.  When I get going on some pictures, I'll try to post one of my collection so far. 

Got a little off track there, but anyway.... Episode III - awesome movie.  If you're a Star Wars fan, well then you've probably already seen it, but if you haven't, you'll love it.  Even if you're not a fan, you probably will find it pretty cool anyway
