Well, this weekend wasn't too eventful overall. My fiance got back from her California trip on Friday night, so we just relaxed after she got home. Saturday, we went out and hit the Northern Central Maryland Rail Trail on our bikes. It's only the third time I've been on my bike this summer, so I'm still getting back in the groove. It was unbelievably hot and humid. Luckily, we had a CamelBak with us with some cold water. Here are some pictures I got along the way
Our bikes taking a break while we head down by the Gunpowder River. Mine's the one of the left, a Giant Rainier... my fiance's on the right, a Trek 6700 WSD.

These next two are a couple different perspectives of a moss-covered rock and the river. Thanks to six24 for the idea of the second perspective.

Here's a timed exposure of the river. Not very clear, but that's what makes it look cool

Here are a couple random shots of trees. The first was just a large downed tree that I thought looked kinda neat, and the second just a tree backlit by the sun.

This one's just a random spot in the river. I liked the colors and the way the water was rippling.

The bark on this tree caught my eye, hence the next pic.

Some sunlit leaves... it was so beautiful down by the river... if only it hadn't been so damn hot!

And finally, a waterfall farther down the trail. There was a sign warning of poisonous snakes. You'll be glad to know that I made it out unscathed
